For he is also a Galilean.” 60 And Peter said: “Man, I do not know what you are saying.” And at once, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 And the Lord turned around and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord that he had said: “For before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” 62 And going out, Peter wept bitterly. |
